Why The Internet Is Great

By John Walker on September 4th, 2007 at 3:40 pm.

Exciting news for every reader! Browsing Ragnar Tørnquist’s blog, I spied in the comments links to something I’d never thought might exist:

The Longest Journey Cosplay.

First there’s alvane‘s April Ryan:

Is she an elf?

And then there’s devildocry‘s Zoe Castillo:

Sigh.

That is all.

  1. Tony Ellis says:

John, you totally have to stalk these ladies and marry them.

  2. DuBBle says:

Tony’s notion could definitely work for you. It’ll be easy to go undetected in their presence: neither cosplay-April nor cosplay-Zoe have developed concepts of stealth.

  3. Masked Dave says:

Damnit, I just fell in love.

  4. Joe says:

I can’t think of anything funny to say, but very good. Well done internet.

  5. James Lyon says:

I think you’ve just brightened my day.

  6. Gunblade says:

Wow. This is the first post I have read on this blog (got linked off gamesetwatch).

Just wow. I literally just got done installing Dreamfall: The longest Journy GOTY edition.

Go figure. Great blog. Instant fan.

  7. Moomoo says:

OMG! wowowwowowow, ask them to do one about April Ryan in TLJ version!!!!!

Or the White Dra Kin or Emma!

  8. sigma83 says:

Wow how did this get bumped to the top. :P

Well I’m more than happy to necronomiconize it. It was written before I began avidly reading RPS and it MAKES ME HAPPY.

  9. Tak says:

    NECRO!

    *raise dead*

  10. Cigol says:

…and again. This one’s not going to die.

  11. Revisit_Che's_History says:

While the accuracy of the girl’s fitting posing as Zoe is remarkable, the April Ryan one is simply wonderful — it’s really artistic.

  12. Bobsy says:

If any lady ever wants me to marry them, they need only do this. Seriously, I’ll be down on one knee in seconds.

  13. zanbowser says:

Clicked the “revisit an old story” link just as “Everything You Ever” came on my player. If I weren’t already married, you could sign me up, too.

  14. Bhazor says:

    Hooray The Internet!
Also hooray for girls that look like Zoe and emo April.

  15. D says:

    OH GOD YES!

  16. Larington says:

Oh, if only I could be sure they have the personality too.
