Its a fantastic, intelligent FPS. I was surprised to learn that the game S.T.A.L.K.E.R. was heavily influenced by a late seventies sci-fi film by Russian auteur Andrei Tarkovski. The film is even called <i>Stalker</i> and is about a mysterious Zone caused by a falling meteor that has a room where wishes are granted. Sound familiar? Very nicely written.
