Charles is still making fantastic games, by the way. He's currently the sole programmer on Combat Mission: Shock Force (releasing the "Marines" module for that now actually). I've been involved with the product as a tester since early this year and it's come a LOOOOOOONG way from the release Paradox forced BTS/BFC to make last July.

Infantry combat in particular (since it's been a pet peeve of mine and I'm pretty sure my complaints in that direction were my raison d'entre, if you will) has improved substantially.

Cheers for the list - now I need to see which of these I can track down. :-)

I'm pretty sure if the Japanese can play Medal of Hono(u)r: Pacific Assault, or hell...if I, a law abiding citizen, can joyfully play Grand Theft Auto, you can play anything you want.

If ever a game deserved a '!' in its title it's AS. Sadly, BTS ran out of time and it was left out.

Ahhh, Achtung Spitfire! (you forgot the !, by the way -- very crucial). I lost many many hours to that, mainly spent in the last of my planes turning furious circle around the last of the oppositions, trying to out-do them in 3d-movement-on-a-2D-picture. You made my day (it's 3.07am, pick whichever day you fancy making for me yourself) by telling me that the guy who made that also made Combat Mission: Beyond Overlord. I fell less guitly about the fact I pirated AS! now.
