Freed Plasmaworm

By Jim Rossignol on September 24th, 2007 at 9:27 am.

Princely esoteric games news site GameSetWatch informs us that Plasmaworm, the world’s premier psychedelic snake clone, is now available for free. Get it here.

Plasmaworm has the distinction of being only the second game in living memory (the first being De Blob) to make me feel a bit sick. I really am getting queasy in my old age. Perhaps it’s all the blogging.

  2. Funnily enough I didn’t bother with that particular title. (I was more of a Sexy Empire fan…)

Funny story, the Travelling Man in has recently moved, and they were using the old store as a sale shop to get rid of their old stock. They were doing an offer in the main store, spend some money, and get a voucher for free stuff in the sales shop. I got such a voucher, so wandered over to the sales store to see what they had. Couldn’t find much of interest (tho they did have some archaic stuff. DnD manuals from 1979 being a good example). I did, however, find Plasmaworm just lying on one of the tables. Which was awfully random, since they’ve never stocked PC games. Picked it up all the same (I did have £12 of free stuff to get).
