So here’s a little something I like to call, Project FreezerCube.

I’ve decided my freezer must become a Weighted Companion Cube. Why? What sort of question is Why? Because it’s white, almost cuboid, and I murdered my last one.
It begins with an ordinary freezer.
Too ordinary. And a slightly less than ordinary trip to the art supply shop for some acrylic paints.
Then tonight, friends departed and the new episode of Dexter watched, there I was making a quick sketch of a Weighted Companion Cube.
There was really no pause between this, and pulling the freezer out and drawing all over it with a pencil.
The paint doesn’t sit as easily on the surface as the lady in the art shop promised me it would. It’s going to take a couple of coats. And so this is as far as I reached this evening, constrained by ludicrous requirements like working during the day. However, I shall return to it very soon.

John’s Weighted Companion Cube is, in fact, not alive, and will not try to stab you. It will however, attempt to serve you a lovely piece of chilled cake. And cream.

That’s disappointing, it used to be number one. Somewhat disturbingly, RPS is /still/ the number one result for ‘Weighted Companion Cube slash fiction’.
The project is looking good so far. Are you going the whole hog and adding bits of foam/polystyrene for the corner/edge bits or leaving it as just painted on?

I fear the next logical progression is for someone to take a white laptop that can run Peggle, and then mod it to look like WCC. We would all become mindless, cake-loving-extreme-fever zombies.
I am using my laptop right now with paper and printers in easy reach……must not do it!
Surely the next logical thing is to start weighing everything in WCCs, like file sizes are now universally measured in Peggles.
Or have them both as a form of measurement!
e.g.
1 WCC = 10 Peggles

What happens when the weighted companion freezer breaks? Have you decided how you should explain the decoration to Mr. FixYourFreezer?
i think “because i can” is a perfectly good reason.
When it breaks, you incinerate it. It’s the only course of action.
