Team Fortress 2 Cosplay

Written by Alec Meer on October 29, 2007 at 2:21 pm.

You’ve already seen the Portal Halloween costume - now here’s the Team Fortress 2 one (click pic to embiggen).

Extramegoultra bonus points for actually fricking building the Heavy’s gun.

Big thanks to Thiefsie for sending it over. Its original source has been located here, where you’ll find a bunch of other images of Janvitos and his RED chums.

Update: and Thiefsie follows up his find with this (click to see full version in its original home):

I wouldn’t like to say which one is most awesome. Because they are both awesome.

While generally awesome, I’m inexplicably disappointed that neither of the Scouts seem to be sporting authentic plus fours.

What is it with TF2 and the clear RED bias. I don’t see why they get all the limelight, they’re a bunch of hill billies!

In other news, this is bloody awesome.

Haha, news story of the week to be sure. I dig the happy shot of the Heavy Weapons Guy.

Has no-one else noticed that they all have enormous heads in the second photo?

We should create a Blu team and send them over to wherever these people are for a fight. :-)

While a more amateur attempt then these people, I liked Sam & Fuzzy author Sam Logan and his wife’s Halloween disguise: 2 Red Engineers.

Actually, how do you know it’s not just a Blu team full of spies in disguise eh? EH?

Well, that would imply I’m a RED. Which I’m not, I’m BLU through and through =D

Gravatar Cargo Cult says:

Altogether now!

“The RED team’s flag is deepest red,
It shrouded oft our gibb’ed dead
And ere ragdolls grew stiff and cold,
Their blood decals on ev’ry fold.

Look round, the pyro loves its blaze,
The sturdy heavy chants its praise,
In 2fort’s vaults its hymns are sung,
And Dustbowl swells the surging throng.

Then raise the scarlet standard high,
Within its shade we’ll frag and die,
Though engies burn and BLU spies sneer,
We’ll keep the RED flag flying here!”

… I’m sorry. So very, very sorry.

I like how you can tell that the group in the second photo rolls with 0 black people in their clique (it’s just a joke people, laugh at it).
