		<description>I liked his metaphor comparing a video game writer to the guy who speaks between strip shows.  It reminded me of John Carmack&#039;s saying that story in video games is like story in porn--with the difference being that Wolpaw&#039;s version is self-deprecating and funny, whereas the latter is operating largely out of arrogance and narrow thinking.</description>

It was also inspired by a Disney movie. Writing Portal was not a fraction as involved as writing a play like Romeo &amp; Juliet or a book like Frankenstein.</description>
