In the summer of 2004 PC Gamer UK underwent a radical redesign. Out went the 5-point Baskerville, the lithographs, and the scores in Roman numerals, in came Extra Life, giant screenshots, and colour photos of the reviewers. It was a scary time. I dealt with my anxiety by picking on Thief: Deadly Shadows.

Well consider this a fan posting. It was excellent.

Rat pro. Hah.

Huzzahizzle!

So bloody good.
I remember scanning this one and posting it on forums at the time because other people simply had to see the greatness.

Wonderful!
I want me shot with a kebab arrow right now.
Um…
report
I remember that one.
I also remember when there were no photos of the reviewers, only the editor. Good times.
Yeah.

I still laugh at Rat Pro.

Excellent, Tim! Now can we convince the Dark Mod team to add Rat Pro arrows?

Are these comics all posted online? Or are they only in the magazine.
report
They are all from PC Gamer UK issues, but by the sound of it a ‘new’ one from the old issues will be posted online every week or so.

I don’t fancy having to aim the pregnancy tester. Through a hole in the floor boards, I don’t doubt. Lucky for the lack of underwear in the medieval setting.
I really should think about this less…

Haha :D
I remember this one well, love it :D

To expand on Nick’s point, yes – Tim’s throwing up a classic SL on RPS every weekend from henceforth.

(Should have said this before but only remembered after I pressed submit) – just do a search for “Strafe Left” in the Search Box, or the link that makes tags worthwhile:

Brilliant. I always thought the water arrow was a goofy concept.

I think the “oaf” one is my favorite. The idea of mildly taunting someone while you’re killing them appeals to me.
