British Modern Warfare Soldiers Short On XP

By Kieron Gillen on December 11th, 2007 at 5:18 pm.

Barely a perk between them.

Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare soldiers are reporting to families that they’re massively under-supplied and being forced to use old equipment from Medal Of Honor games. In conversations leaked to Rock, Paper, Shotgun, it has become clear that forces based in Azerbaijan are struggling to stay ahead in the combat, with enemy soldiers far better equipped for the battles. Reports of extensive casualties coming from the warzones are being blamed by family members on these shortages, arguing that the government needs to send over more experience points immediately, along with all available perks. It was also said that the soldiers missed their mums, and they’d call them again later to see if they were back. RPS says: come on government – our boys need your support NOW.

IM ALL FOR SUPPORTING THE TROOPS BUT IF MY TAXES GO UP ONE CENT TO BUY THEM XP THEN THAT IS A BIG JOKE. WHY NOT JUST CUT SCHOOL FUNDING BECAUSE WE BASICALLY JUST PAY TEACHERS TO BABYSIT ANYWAYS. ALSO BACK WHEN I WAS IN THE ARMY (I WASN’T) WE MADE DO WITH WHAT XP WE HAD, NOT WITH THE XP WE WANTED.

What an utter disgrace. America with its huge defence budget sends it’s soldiers thousands of regenerating healthbars and top of the line Battlefield 3 equipment, and we’re barely making do on used medkits and outdated technology? It sickens me.

our boys are being let down by the government and especially since gordon brown caused everything! no doubt the recession was just so our boys could be let down this way. also foreigners are evil.
