I just don't get this... I posted a really good comment stating the arguments why I thought it would be a World of Starcraft, and it's just gone. No trace of it. I didn't even get any mail saying why it was deleted. And I didn't curse anything, I didn't say anything offensive, I didn't do any of those things posts are usually deleted for. And it's not the first time, either!

Could someone, please, explain how that can happen? Or *why* someone deletes it, if that's what it is?

Contrary to popular opinion, I think that if it's not another Warcraft one, then it'll be a Diablo one. I say that cause I really want it to be a Starcraft one, and megatons I usually want to happen as a rule... don't.

May the world end in 2012 then so that I can type /played on the last day and laugh that blizzard managed to ruin my wallet, life, relationships and everythingelse, running the two most perfectly ripped off unsatisfying mmo's on this planet, and it's too late to spend all their money! Divine retribution! Wuhahaha power rangers!

Im looking forward to this, i`m a great fan of Blizzard. As stated further up, they dont innovate, they just make things better than the competition.

I haven played WoW since february 07, as the expansion added more of what i think sucks. I loved WoW up to approx. lvl 40. I mostly played as a dwarf priest, the dwarf starter areas are very good, but they are to small. A Dun Morogh from level 1 to 30 would have been nice. I do see that it would cause some trouble concerning communication with other races for a while. I would love to see a WoW 2 with bigger "normal" areas, with that i mean geography that isnt to far from our beloved planet, no more silly purple mushroom-areas, and more humanoid enemies. Im stretching humanoid here(zombies and stuff is okay), but in TDC, you fought walking plants. That doesnt quite do it for me.

I totally agree with a random factor to some loot. Design would be a b****, but hey, alle does look the same.

The odds are pretty high for a Starcraft MMO then, but to be honest, I'm unsure if it's going to tickle my particular gaming nubbin. I reckon a successful sci-fi MMO needs to be made with a certain amount of creativity towards MMO mechanics which... well, Blizzard have never been a particularly creative lot, have they?

Pretty much all of their games (Lost Vikings apart) have taken everyone else's good ideas and made them good, so unless World of Scardraft decides to rip off Planetside -and here's hoping they do - I can't see it being altogether special.

Er, basically I won't consider this a success if I don't get to roll Dark Templar, but also hop into a spaceship and dogfight them dastardly Terrans. In the same engine. Seamlessly. While players scurry around under foot beneath me.

WoW with lasers = not good enough.

Crap - Graham took my answer, only I was figuring it would be Rock n' Roll Racing Online Ultimate Forever Special Edition with extra d00000m!

If not that, why not a Lost Vikings MMO? Hasn't everyone here wanted to pillage and plunder while singing "In The Navy" anyway? Or am I the only one who watched that episode of The Muppet Show?

Along with Digital above me, I was/am really worried about SC2. After Warcraft 3, I had pretty much lost faith in Blizzards ability to make something they've done better. Then World of Warcraft came out (love it or hate it, you have to admit it was an amazing production), so I had some faith.

SC2, from what Ive read/seen/etc seems to be doing exactly what it should. Get to the full-upgraded end-game faster? Check. Pretty 3d Engine that doesn't add useless shit? Check. Lack of moronic Babysitcraft 3 heroes? Check!

I've been less enthusiastic about some of the models (anyone see the first siege tank they had? Jesus...), but on the whole I'm hopeful.

I love the idea posted above about Starcraft as a FPSMMO, that's a brilliant damn idea. We've all asked for Starcraft in FPS form some way or another. Do it Blizzard, do it.
