Violent sports are a damned good reason for having a PC. Here comes a new one, that goes into open beta in a few days.

Fireteam is a game that takes the rules seriously. For instance, fumble the ball and, well, you die. I can’t help but think many sports could be improved this way.
Looks interesting, with some Red Alert 2-esque graphics.
Although horribly generic rock music in the background. :)

Hmm… After listening to it a second time, it’s much better. But after watching those horrid car shows on Discovery Channel, I’m pretty tired of the ultra generic soft rock they play there. (Come to think of it, this is not on topic.)
