It was a steaming pile of junk in Beta, I can’t really afford to buy it on the chance it “might be a little better since the patch”, unless they are giving away a free month or so to test it out (not the three day crap) then I will keep on with playing some Tf2/CoD4 :)

The initial beta play experience didn’t drive me away. It was the way they dropped a patch a day later that took careful aim at the fun with a tactical nuclear bomb and detonated it.

But as with most MMOs that look like they could be fun with some work, I’m sure I’ll go try it again sometime in future. Not right now, though. Not with so much else to do, and not when I can’t run out and buy the damn thing if I do happen to get hooked.

When you signed up for the trial over on Eurogamer you should have got a code for the beta. Unless you just signed up to Eurogamer and that was it. You have to click the link within Eurogamer first.

- Also a quick correction to my earlier remark, I’ve called my character Ben Betterbee, NOT Ayrebee, my mistake (got confused with my EVE trial name)

I’m tempted to give Tabula Rasa a go. I tried the beta and unlike the rest of the world, I was a bit more forgiving. After all, it’s just a beta; what are people expecting?

Log in to PlayNC.com, then in the place where you put your product key into the system, there should be an option there (it should have come up during the process)

Also: I’m giving it a shot for this weekend. Ben Ayearebee is the name, feel free to add me till Monday, at which point my trial endeth. So far finding it not too bad, I do see the comparisons made with the City of series, also being my favourite MMOG.

Oh and I’m on the EU server, in case anyone’s wondering.

Uh, how the hell do I actually log in to play? I made an NCSoft account, I have the game all loaded, I enter my password, it says it’s wrong, or the account doesn’t exist…
