We’ve ranted that you should give Tabula Rasa a shot when a free trial arrived before. And lo! one has. And we thought we’d mention it as i) we’re a pc gaming blog. That’s what we do, man. ii) it gives another chance to publish this screenshot of a handsome in-game moustache.

Sexy!

It’s only a three day trial, but that’s certainly enough to give you a weekend of Bane-bashing (Which suddenly sounds like a euphemism, but I’m hungover, so bear with me). To get it, you have to be a member of Eurogamer (i.e. Fill in the form which lets you post on their forums) and then click the button on this page. Hurrah!

I got one of these, but the download keeps failing before it’s anywhere near 2.7 gb or whatever it is. So I sodded it, and am getting the actual game for Christmas.

    12.99 at dvd.co.uk – bargain!

  2. Seniath says:

Only a 3 day trial? Seems a bit stingy :/

  3. Matt says:

3 days is very short, depending on the time you have to spend on a game each day 3 days could amount to nothing.

  4. Lou says:

Applied for a trial key, but NCSoft somehow managed to bork my account (I am pretty sure it wasn’t me). Now my 3 days are running, and I can’t even log in to contact the support.

  5. ran93r says:

Nice find on the dvd.co.uk. I have been adding and removing this from shopping baskets all over the intarwebs for weeks, at that price it’s a steal.
Still, I grabbed a 3 day key, just need to download all those peggles.

  6. Blimey. 12.99? Aces.

    Good work, gentlemen.

    Says £11.95 for me… am I special?

  8. Mouj says:

That in-game moustache is truly magnificient, that alone should get anyone to give it a try.

  9. terry says:

Ali G in an MMOFPS, what could go wrong?

  10. John P (Katsumoto) says:

Anyone else planning on having this by Christmas? We could start an RPS mini-clan thingy. Woo! Like our ETQW one, which I think has 4 people in it. We rock.

  11. The_B says:

We should have some sort of bargain hunting thingy. And whoever finds the lowest price wins a prize.

    Like pocket lint, for example.

  12. For my fellow Yanks, MMORPG.com has the 3-day free trial.

  13. Sal says:

i’ve been play TR since beta…its fun. They just opened up new servers too.

  14. DigitalSignalX says:

Excellent, thanks for the mmorpg.com link, downloading now.

  15. Garth says:

Wait, does that trial require my CC info?

    Err, no thanks.

  16. Will says:

I made a character on my friend’s account and he let me play around for a few hours… I was totally underwhelmed.

It’s just the usual grey/brown futuristic gumph… It just doesn’t feel like it has been made with any passion. Something I couldn’t quite put my finger on made me intensely dislike this game right away.

However, my flatmate really, really likes it.

  17. KindredPhantom says:

It’s closed now. But apparently Tabula Rasa players can send people a 3 day trail, recruit a rookie or something.
