Feel free to include sarcasm, but what the hell does "We’re very proud to be part of a project that has the potential to really make a mark on the canon of sci-fi fantasy fiction.” mean? We took Command and Conquers mediocre story and made it an FPS? Now YOU'RE-the-nameless-commander-guy-but-also-the-ground-guys?

ED209 was ripped off in the first place, so really does it matter 'that' much?

As for the game I will wait till we see a bit more rather than slate it just from a single screen shot, because well that is great journalism isn't it.

It does look a bit like ED209... I wonder if it makes the same baby noises when it falls down stairs?

At least they've found Sev from Republic Commando - they seem to have painted his armour red and bulked it up a bit too!

Why hasn't someone made an ABC Warriors game yet (I'm looking at you Rebellion) - Rogue Warrior was enjoyable enough!

...evolving the tactical shooter experience by taking core gameplay compulsions...

Gagh!

Some of the weapons and mechanics are truly innovative for a first-person game.

So... it has a sniper rifle, then?

From the screenies in the above article, it kinda looks good?

The gigantic robot is ripped off from the latest C&C RTS game is it?
I did not play it so I can't comment on that. -_-

Hopefully, it would be a fun game to play aye?

Ah.

Can it handle stairs?

And who cares if it looks like an ED-209 or not anyway.

Wait, I just too a close look. DAMN.

Meh, CnC3 looked bland from the original screenies anyway. People liked it. This might be good too.

Coincidentally enough, my copy of January's GameInformer, with its ginormous first look spread on this very game arrived today. Whenever it is I read that spread, I will know better whether I care about this game or not.

Surely Joe Pineapples = best scary shooty robot ever, if only because ED209 can never find a corset that fits?

Also, wasn't this the year the ABC Warriors were meant to be created to tackle the rising Volgan menace?

Robo-sapians vs President Putin just doesn't have the same ring to it.

It's a well-known fact that ED209 was the pinnacle of scary-shooty robot design, so any robot that looks just like it is logically best. Ipso facto, quid pro quo, veni vedi vici.

Has anyone done a Best Robots of 2007 list yet?

To be fair to EA, almost all robot designs in the past twenty years have been based on the ED-209. It's the default position.
