It seems churlish not to link to all this madness.
First up, it’s TF2 in Lego!

Follow the link, as there’s lots more of these, and it’s obligatory that you look at them.
Next, how about a Weighted Companion Cube made of balloons?

But surely a red marker would have made all the difference?
And finally, for this afternoon at least, it was friend-of-RPS Craig’s birthday yesterday. As his housemate, it was only fitting that I, and another housemate, put together some sort of appropriate cake. PC Gamer have posted a pic and a story about it on their blog here. But they didn’t post this pic, did they? (Answer: no).

You never cook a cake for your RPS friends, John.
We’re not hurt.

I doesn’t look so good in the picture on that PC Gamer blog.. looks much better on the picture above.
Was the cake actually baked from the recipe GLADoS spouts in the game?

That balloon WCC looks terrifying. It’s like some sort of brain creature with beady eyes and heart-shaped pupils.

He didn’t really make a cake KG. The baked confection is a fabrication.

While I’ve grown extremely tired of the ubiquitous Portal meme we all know, I actually found that particular invention totally awesome.
