Eragon Was Rubbish

By Jim Rossignol on January 23rd, 2008 at 10:00 am.

Cats are actually descended from dragons.

Indie fantasy-fanciers MistKeep have released a demo of the dragon air-combat game, Journey Of The Dragon Rider. It’s fairly crude, but also moderately entertaining. It’s basically a 3D dog-fighting game, like Red Baron 3D with fire-breathing mega-lizards. Not particularly beautiful or challenging, but it beats doing some work first thing in the morning.

But is it, Kieron asks, as good as Dragon Strike? Well, it doesn’t have any floating citadels, so it’s already down a few dragon-sim points…

    From their website:

MistKeep Software is a vegetarian friendly software developer based in Sydney, Australia.

So, those dragons you kill in the game are vegetables?

I’m….not entirely sure what sort of relevance being vegitarian friendly has on software development.

Of course, all the locals know those Sydney folk are all crazy.
