Look! More Lego Indiana Jones footage! Including the giant boulder!

Gametrailers. I don’t hate these guys.

So far, so Lego Star Wars – I was hoping there’d be a little more focus on controlling solely Indy, as he’s the reason we’re all signed up for this, but the character-swapping mechanic seems as prevalent as ever – but it sure is pretty and adventuresome. Plus, I now want a pet Lego crocodile.

Nice to see shifty Lego Alfred Molina featuring there.

Looks fantastic. Really looking forward to this now.

That bit where you’re running towards camera could be annoying. Apart from that it looks awesome.

Things certainly go *boom* a lot in that jungle.

  5. yxxxx says:

looking good i really should get hold of some of the lego games

  6. Steve says:

@Seniath: Yeah, the booms are way too loud, they should tone that down a little! Still, its looking rather fantasmic, should be fun!

  7. Acosta says:

It’s going to be Lego Star Wars with Indy skin, the formula has been very successful for Traveler’s Tale and they look quite proud of themselves for that, so is not very realistic to think they will change their core ideas in my opinion.

Can someone explain the exploding foiliage to me please?

  9. Jives says:

I was kinda hoping it would be different to lego starwars…

  10. PleasingFungus says:

The foliage is terrible. And ridiculous. So I’m fine with it.

I should really watch the movies again at some point. Haven’t seen them since I was ten, so I’m a little rusty on the plot and such-like.

I get the feeling sound editing hasn’t quiet been finished yet, but Lego Star Wars was awesome, so I can’t complain for them giving me more of it!

It is, it’s LEGO Indiana Jones.

  13. Tak says:

I’ve always been impressed with the level of polish and fun-factor in Lego games. There was a Lego racing game of sorts on the PC way back that I remember my younger brother playing for hours (and I was arse at it, so I didn’t play it as much). Good to see some consistent quality work in titles!

Personally though, I’m hoping for a little more free-form game type. It may be Lego Batman delivers there. Crackdown meets Lego meets Batman?

  14. Sombrero says:

the tag tell tale i think should be travellers tales, a mistake i often make myself

  15. Irish Al says:

Check out Indy’s double-jump in the boulder section. It’s more a jump-jump-face plant. Hilarious.
