Nice review :)
Does a puzzle game need a story? Problably not.
Does a story make a puzzle game better? Probably yes.

In Runes of Avalon 2 we made the storyline as short as possible to make those that like storyline happy and those that don’t not bothered too much.

I think exactly the same thing. Meteos. Puzzle Quest. Any time someone tells me that I’m a brave warrior, I either start laughing or start mashing A.

I still loved both games. No comment on this one.
