Been playing this with my "devestating girlfriend" and its quite fun. Much of the fun drawn from prank calling the other characters as a way for up to break to tension in the game.

This is not part of the game, we are taking upon ourselves to walk up to people and describe objects over and over too.

No one would have noticed this if it wasn't for having the same name as a film that came out at the same time.

Sounds like The Moment of Silence to me: great setting and plot, god-awful game.

"called in to establish why five near-catatonic yoof"

Is this a (several?) typo(s?), or some British slang that has flown over my poor Canadian head?

The word Overclocked next to a synapse, which seems to be the game's logo and some background story of military experiments, actually kind of hints at ebil brain experiments. I have never heard of this game before, but I'm not much of an adventure fan anymore.

The obvious thing to do would be to mention Colin Baker and Sylvester McCoy, thereby rendering the above comment more than a little silly.

But really, let's not.

Back to European point-and-clickers, has the one that Hal Barwood was talking about in his Warren Spector Masterclass been released yet? I seem to remember it was being produced by a German team, and had the idea of having conversion topics being items in your inventory.

You're right; having a main character that looks a little like the worst Doctor ever is advantageous for a psychological horror video game protagonist.

I the top shot the main character looks quite like David Tennant, which is no bad thing.
