I’m not quite sure how I missed this video about Maxis’ work on Spore earlier this week, but fortunately VG247 flagged it up. A brief but pleasingly insight into the studio that is developing Spore.
We’d explore your solution space, GameTrailers.
Incidentally, we know RSS is all messed up. It’ll return to normal as soon, probably. (Hopefully.)

Why is this “not space week”?
Even if spore didn’t feature our favourite gap-between-gravity-wells (which it does), it says it’s about space right there in the title.

I actually don’t know… I was sure I tagged it space week. Probably a saboteur.

a sexy space saboteur I presume?

hahaha nice pic Cigol.
Personally if someone told me to “explore the solution space” I’d probably have to hit them….hard.
I used to work with a guy who called a presentation a ‘knowledge cascade’. brrrrrrr

I think ‘solution space’ is meant in a technical, rather than… shit… sense.
Spore looks, uh, good.
I mean, I mean whatever game that they were showing. Looks fun. A little. A little bit fun.

I explored your mom’s solution space.

Um, can anyone who has played Spore in an official capacity as a journalist tell me if it supports widescreen? Every video I’ve seen so far shows it boxed 4:3!!.
Please dont tell me EA’s widescreenphobia has come back?
02/04/2008 at 23:38 Caiman says:
All you have to do, MeestaNob, is watch the video and you’ll see Spore being played quite happily by non-other than Will himself on a widescreen resolution with the correct ratio.
