Codies Compo Winner

By John Walker on April 7th, 2008 at 4:52 pm.

Congratulations to Steve Peacock for his winning entry to the Codies Hyperbole Compo. His copy of Turning Point, and surprise bonus prize of a squishy Statue of Liberty, is zooming toward him now.

See, it's fallen.

Just so you know, the correct way to describe RPS today is:

“Overt masters of electronic dwarves, bears and wise-crackery, nestled in a chocolate coating.”

  1. Well after reading the PC Gamer UK review of the game (great read ;) John) I can safely say that I have no issues with not winning this competition :P

  4. Devastatingly, no. But with enough marshmallows it can be used to re-enact the end of Ghostbusters.

    Nice one Steve :D.

I think we should start letting other people win the competitions now. Us Steam-chatting people don’t want to be seen as having a monopoly ;)

  7. Yay! I’m so happy! That little statue is going to have pride of place in my room, while turning point will have pride of place in my “Hey it’s free, I’m not going to complain about a few problems” section of my games library.

It’s not quite as big as my “I paid for it and despite its problems I’m not going to return this damn game!” section…

  8. Oh yea…congrats Steve :D
