Which forthcoming film are you most looking forward to? Indiana Jones? Well, probably. But don’t forget to mention Iron Man. So, here’s a far more interesting way of showing you the trailer for the accompanying game than the usual.

Produced by RPS-good-buddy Simon Parkin, it’s an extremely mini-game based on calibrating the hero’s suit, which once completed loads the game’s brief, but reasonably impressive, footage. The games aren’t going to challenge you, but as Simon points out, do make a good demonstration of quite how powerful Flash is getting these days with the background 3D shenanigans.

It’d probably work better as a concept if the footage was all new, as that snippet has been in one of the earlier trailers/teasers.

I’m actually looking forward to Iron Man more than Indy 4…

    What, the pre-rendered videos?

Simon, that was my thought as well…

Am I nuts to think the game looks pretty decent? Is it going to be another Superman Returns?

  6. The Shed says:

The demo of IM really wasn’t too impressive. Like Superman R, the flying around seems pretty fun at first, but quickly gets quite dull, and the combat leaves a lot to be desired. Lack of detail, pointless objectives, and horrifically sardonic voice acting galore- not really looking forward to it.

However, Indy 4 (the game, not the movie) features Euphoria, which can only be a good sign. That’s all we really know. And it’ll have an action sequence on the roof of a moving Tram. Yeah.
