Multiwinia Mondays, On Tuesday

By John Walker on August 12th, 2008 at 10:14 am.

Darwinians always look so ambivalent about death.

Introversion declare that Mondays are to be Multiwinia Mondays for the next six weeks, as they build up to the release of the multiplayer reworking of Darwinia. In response I’m declaring Tuesdays as Tuna Tuesdays, where we all eat tuna-based food. Just so we all know. So yesterday the first video tutorial for one of the six game modes was revealed, Domination, and it’s below.

That child’s voice is strangely creepy.

I like the instructional bit reminiscent of the portal trailer.

I demand a vegetarian alternative to Tuna Tuesdays!

Also, I’m going to stoically ignore the videos until all six are released, at which point I’ll gorge on them as a way of distracting me from my (by then, severely) impending dissertation deadline.

I miss playing Darwinia. I found it had disappointingly little replay value but it was soo much fun the first time round.

This looks to address that quite nicely :)

Here’s hoping for a Steam release.

I propose Waffle Wednesdays. Who’s with me?

This article finally forced me to post.

@Yann – it’s Tofu Tuesday today. I recommend marinading the stuff in black bean sauce for a while, then stir-frying it with noodles and some appropriate veg.

Aargh. Gametrailers never works for me and the Introversion site is giving me an error. Is it up anywhere else?

Is it just me, or does the girls voice sound just like the AI in that first Resident Evil movie? Also, yay Multiwinia! I am more excited about this than any other release.

  13. Rook says:

Reminds me a lot of Portal’s preview videos.

You forgot to add any meat, silly.

  15. Yann Best says:

Tch, in the end I made a pizza. Well, it had Tomato in it, so at least there was some kind of ‘t’ theme.

It was also tasty. Mmm, Tasty Tuesday.

    …dammit, now I want tuna.

As long as it’s Skipjack and not Bluefin. They’ll be eaten to extinction before too long.
