Well that’s nice. Firefox just crashed on me and I lost all my years hard saving of bookmarks all anally organised and hardly to be found again. Yay. Stupid fucking updating!! Grrrr

Thiefsie: use the FEBE extension. It makes backups of all your settings and extension installations.

Thiefsie: they’re not lost. Just look in your configuration folder, every user profile has a file named bookmarks.html. They’re all there, I’m sure.

I found them…. something to do with auto updating being broken witout administration rights and some such other nonsense.
I’m looking up FEBE now.
I still lost my 70 or so open tabs that I keep permanently of stuff I can’t be bothered bookmarking to look at at a later date :( and firefox 3 doesnt work with tab browser preferences so that history is lost I’m afraid :( Thanks anyway!
