CellZenith Trailer

By Jim Rossignol on September 3rd, 2008 at 9:49 am.

Faramix’s top-down shooter CellZenith is apparently to be available on Direct2Drive – and possibly in some shops – from the 30th of September. The game is a peculiarly flat-looking retro 3D shooter, with some lavish explosions, and a soundtrack of that electronic music I’ve been hearing so much about. Faramix guys, if you’re reading this, you should probably put out a demo of this. (And write better press releases! Sheesh, that one was awful.)

That video looked quite unspectacular. If there won’t be a demo out at some point, I would definitely save my money and spend it on something else, like Multiwinia or World Of Goo…

Same. If it plays better than it looks it could be a winner.

Direct2Drive only makes it a must avoid though :(

I played a beta of this game a few months back and the gameplay is very smooth. The video doesn’t do much for the quality. It’s better to actually play a game before you start to bash it. When I first saw geometry wars, I laughed, then I played it and think its great.
