Comments Temporarily Closed Open Again

By Alec Meer on September 5th, 2008 at 2:47 pm.

Edit: And we’re back, on a shiny-fresh server. Let us know below if there are any new problems you’ve spotted. The RSS feed is a little altered, but we’ll hopefully sort that soon.

…While we do some exciting* back-end stuff. Should be open again in around an hour. Sorry. Prepare your vast essays about stuff and things in Notepad in the meantime, I guess.

*Not actually exciting.

  7. Is your RSS feed broken? I’ve been reloading my FF3 Live Bookmark for a while now and not getting anything newer than Spore: Things to know…, while my actual RSS reader hasn’t got anything newer than Planetside: The 1%.

I’ll just wait and see if it comes back on its own, shall I?

RSS should be working again, but may be a bit shonky for a day or two. Bear with us. We’ve had to move server and change some caching stuff because we’re too damned popular – there’ve been a few side-effects.

A severe console fan since forever (I consider Goldeneye to one of the top three FPS’s ever made) I’ve decided to put up with crashes and patching and join PC gaming. Though I’m not entirely well versed on good PC games. Any suggestions? I doubt I could take anything ridiculously hardcore (EVE) and Crysis is already bought. Thanks.

Thanks for the suggestions. Stalker looks interesting, cheers. Played the orange box on my 360. Though, is TF2 PC worth buying?

  30. Krupo says:

Hell yes – what was TF2 multiplayer like on 360 anyway? I can’t imagine it being very fun with a gamepad.
