I’d like a demo before dropping 20 yankie doodles but eh?

If you can call the sequel to a flash game joyous and uplifting i guess i’ll i can risk it, random internet man. I jest, though half my non intermet(not a typo) friends have terrible taste in games or worse mmo players who play nothing else. The only thing worse than an unjustified opinion is an unfounded opinion! Speak the terrible rapture, is this game worth the monies?

Heliocentric: Yes, you’re simply wrong – at least from my perspective. Is that “if they can make it good” based on playing the first chapter, on watching videos of the first chapter, on playing the precursor Tower of Goo (which is a tech demo), on watching videos of the precursor, or on a complete outsider’s perspective? I can’t tell from your text whether you’re trying to express distaste, derision or apathy.

I preordered as soon as it was possible, played the first chapter beta/preorder/demo, and it’s one of the most joyous, uplifting game experiences I’ve had – basically Lemmings plus PHYSICS! except that the art, story and music of the Goos inspires a much stronger protective drive than the lemmings do. The tech demo of Tower of Goo is used as the basis of a different game mechanic in each stage, and about a quarter are genuinely challenging braintwisters. So far, it’s revelatory.
