		<description>Clint did an amusing live demo at PAX. First he showed off the single player options, mostly by dying a lot, and then he ended the dying by showing off the level creator, which looks really neat. Much of the level tools are procedural, so you create rivers by raising the water level until it fills the river bed you created and you create forests by choosing a biome and marking an area for the game to populate with plants. The nicest touch is the ability to drop into the level at any time, almost instantly, and check it out from the player&#039;s perspective.</description>

I think it&#039;s got a lot to do with the illusion of choice rather than choice itself. See the Half Life 2 games for examples of this.</description>

		<description>Exploding cars are the new ubiquitous crates.  &quot;there was no hood protecting the engine&quot;, oh!  It all makes sense now, a flimsy hood protects the engine from gunfire because engine blocks are highly explosive and made of dynamite.  
Please give me a break with the constantly exploding vehicle stuff.  Gasoline does not &#039;explode&#039; unless it&#039;s compressed or otherwise under pressure.
