I do admit the music press’s total disinterest in anything Def Jux outside of El-P lately sucks, though, especially since they’ve started doing some really ballsy stuff, like signing Chin Chin for (long overdue) US distribution.

Well, at last, a PC game that has some interesting licensed music. I have no problem with in-house musicians, but Wipeout benefitted from having both (in fact I’d go as far as to say Cold Storage created a whole new genre – breaks-trance – AND perfected it in one album). As did Descent 2.

Yeah, the collabo between Def Jux and Adult Swim was pretty damn good. Def Jux has never really put out a bad album by any performer, to be honest. Probably because everybody signed to them is a fucking awesome rapper.

adult swim have a pretty good record of solid releases, definitive swim should be on people’s priority list of “hip-hop albums to listen to”. and zenarcade needs to watch more aqua teen, harvey birdman, sealab and venture bros. before making such scandalous comments.
