Moto GP ’08 Demo

By Jim Rossignol on November 14th, 2008 at 5:34 pm.

We here at Rock, Paper, Shotgun love racing on two wheels the best, so we’re always glad to hear of freshly simulated motorcycle racing exploits. This is one such occasion, with the release of Capcom’s MotoGP ’08 demo. These are the fast bikes, yes sir. You can download 543mb of the historic Italian circuit at Mugello here, and then have a choice of riding as either Dani Pedrosa or Nicky Hayden, if such things matter to you. Both of them go fast.

Hooray for things on two wheels!

Someday I will be able to ride a Norton Commando in an electronic video game, and my life will have come full circle.

  2. Me? I was a bit disappointed by MotoGP08.

I’ve been wanting a good Bike game for a while now and i just tried out the ’07 demo on the 360….. I was suitably impressed. How does ’08 improve on last year’s game?

  4. Just in time for completely the wrong end of the season yet again then? Sterling effort.

Gave the demo a try, removed it after 2 races… epic fail at keyboard (and mouse? lol no mouse) only controls for a race game as usual :(
