New Prism, For Free

By Jim Rossignol on November 26th, 2008 at 7:46 am.

Bluesnews point out that Rival Interactive’s free shooter, Prism: Guard Shield, has been updated and rereleased, despite there being no mention of the update on the official site. I took a look at this a couple of years ago when it first showed up, and – shamefully – I recall very little about it. It seemed competently made, but, er, forgettable!

Anyway, might be worth a look if you’re hopeless bored and/or nightmarishly impoverished.

It does sound a bit dull when there’s no mention of zombie vomit or witches.

Had the same feeling when I saw the re-release on gamershell yesterday. I too did try it out, and only remembered some parts of the gameplay and levels after seeing some screenshots of the game.

Even commentwise not a lot of people seem to be interested in this game. Anyway, I’ll probably download it sometime this weekend just to see how much I can recall and how much might have changed…
