RPS Talk-o-Tron Talkback-o-Tron #3

By Alec Meer on November 27th, 2008 at 12:43 pm.

When a news story falls through the cracks, our own forum is there to catch it. So, once again, here’s a few recent high points, flashpoints and point-counterpoints from the burgeoning Rock, Paper, Shotgun Talk-o-Tron: a place where men go to talk about games and piracy. Not necessarily in that order.

  • A bunch of good folk embark on a reassessment of Deus Ex 2, a game which Kieron famously scored 1,999,993% a few years ago. Does the troubled sequel really deserve all that bitter backlash?
  • A Nick Hornby novel made flesh – everyone proffers their lists of ten titles every PC gamer should play. Surprisingly little love for Plumbers Don’t Wear Ties.

I didn’t know what a Plumbers Don’t Wear Ties are.

You can play Plumbers Don’t Wear Ties via the magic of YouTube…

It’s not the intro. It’s the full game. It uses the branching button thing to recreate the whole game. As ridiculous as that sounds…

  13. Meat Circus says:

John doesn’t *look* like a plumber. Jane does look like a slut though, so maybe it evens out.

  14. Lambo says:

Wooo my little (ok……enormously long and overdrawn) thread Has been mentioned!

    I feel I should celebrate!

“celebrate” = “post another ridiculously long fantasy” (about games ;))
