I remember that cartoon, too. It was terrible. And I was about to say: The look of this game reminds me more of ‘The Real Ghostbusters’ than Ghostbusters.

Nice voice acting, though.

I remember that cartoon. It was like the politically correct brigade learnt to animate. Only all the ghosts were horribly misrepresented as evil beings from another dimension. Someone ought to have complained.

There was an absolutely darling Ghostbusters cartoon a few years back concerning, er, Egon training up a new generation of ‘Busters. Its concessions to political correctness were insane. The new team consisted of The Slightly Foreign One, the Black One, the Disabled One (action wheelchair!), the Girl One and the Old One (Egon). Can’t recall if any of them were gay. Maybe Slimer was gay. I dunno. Minority power!

I’m so looking forward to this. Even if it’s shit I’ll probably end up getting it (yeah, I’m all that’s wrong with the gaming industry). How can you not love Ghostbusters?

Where is the game in that? Like is it a third person action puzzler? shooter? RTS? Squad based shooter? point ‘n’ click? Management game?

Who knows.

Also Murray’s (I think it was him) line at the end sounds like he’s putting on a hooooorrendous Irish ascent, other than that the voicing seemed solid enough.

If the name of the game was in anyway related to the quality, changing the name from what has already been decided wont change the quality of the game, unless they start again of course.
So what you’re saying is, that the game will be as bad as Spiderman: The Game.

Do NOT call it ‘The Video Game’ for fark sakes!

How many franchise-based games with the suffix ‘the game’ or ‘the video game’ or ‘game of the book/movie/series’ do you know that have ever been good?

Spider-man: the game, sucked. But Spider-Man 2 without the suffix, was good fun apart from some tacky missions and annoying challenges.

But other than that, ‘the game’ or any variation of it jinxes the whole thing. CHANGE THE FRIKKEN NAME.
