El Cid Breathes: Cid the Dummy Demo

By Kieron Gillen on December 20th, 2008 at 3:00 pm.

And everyone knows that younger relatives are the only people who play platform games (Which I say to bait my girlfriend who’s been playing Super Mario Galaxy all morning). So the 280-or-so Mb demo of Cid The Dummy may seem the sort of thing to check out as a possible gift. Alas, the game isn’t out until the end of January. When an adult plays a platformer it becomes an “action adventure”. Just look at Prince of Persia, Tomb Raider, uncharted, Mirror’s Edge and so on.

  7. Pretty insightfull post. Never thought that it was this uncomplicated after all. I have spent a good deal of my time looking for someone to explain this topic clearly and you’re the only person that ever did that. Thanks a lot! Keep it up!
