Christmas is inching closer – as is the time I can’t put off starting shopping any more – so you may be on the look out for a gift to buy a younger relative. And everyone knows that younger relatives are the only people who play platform games (Which I say to bait my girlfriend who’s been playing Super Mario Galaxy all morning). So the 280-or-so Mb demo of Cid The Dummy may seem the sort of thing to check out as a possible gift. Alas, the game isn’t out until the end of January. You’ll have to just buy them an inappropriately violent videogame. The only footage I can find is from – gasp! – 2006 and for the PSP. It’s beneath the cut…

The video isn’t working for me.

Hay! I’m kinda not a kid and I play platformers all the time. Sly Cooper forever!

The original video is here. For some reason embedded Gamespot videos don’t like RPS.

Won’t play.

When an adult plays a platformer it becomes an “action adventure”. Just look at Prince of Persia, Tomb Raider, uncharted, Mirror’s Edge and so on.

You have a girlfriend?

Pretty insightfull post. Never thought that it was this uncomplicated after all. I have spent a good deal of my time looking for someone to explain this topic clearly and you’re the only person that ever did that. Thanks a lot! Keep it up!
