Must be, think about it, planet side wasn’t released on steam, they don’t want to cannibalise their own sales with an old game.

Not sure if it is planetside 2 by title, but mmofps it must be.

Just be sure non sub players are pilots instead of gunners and cover the subber who performs the hack. Also have non subbers pilot the flying skip. Sometimes you need to fly one in from the main base which takes ages but they are hella useful. You’ll need a dedicated voice channel, and arranging people into squads will help.

Eschatos, from what I can tell you can join and play alongside the 70, but your kills won’t contribute to the team points count. I’m sure an extra gun would still be welcome by any of the lucky winners, though.

My character is a “invisible engineer”. I just have fun placing turrets everywhere, and mines on enemy bases, and killing newbies with my kniffe. I would love to gain more certified points to add some hackers skills to my character…

I will not be joining you, because I’ve never played Planetside. I’d start playing and it’d be in this great big surge of meaningful conflict, and then it’d all peter out and I’d be stuck playing this game on my own like a noob.
