What He Learned From Left 4 Dead

By John Walker on February 16th, 2009 at 11:45 am.

It's what they would have wanted.

This is a short, cute cartoon, gently spoofing the idiosyncrasies of Left 4 Dead. It’ll let you know who’s most likely to be turned zombie in an apocalypse, who might survive, and other useful tips. It’s by =Golden-Silver (Stefan Martello), on his Deviant Art page, and worth a glance. Thanks to Yngvild for the tip-off.

    Very good.

I just bought Left 4 Dead in the Steam sale, so this came at a good time for me. (Although I played the demo and read a lot so I would have got it anyway, but still.)

Great find. L4D is a good apocalypse training tool. Just need to find some 45′s that have infinite ammo and I’m set.

Hehe. Pretty cool. Except for the last point – The Infected have their own way of opening doors.

The repopulation of the Earth involves Christopher Eccleston, his army unit and an abandoned old mansion. I assume that campaign will be released later.

assuming you are a gamer, you could simply transition to also being a “chick”.

I didn’t understand the part about the melee weapons. L4D taught me that all I need is 3 things to swing around and to just constantly swing one, the other, then the third and then back to the first. I’ll never get tired, will swing things 3x as fast, and be an unstoppable whirling dervish of destruction.
