I admit, I can’t actually differentiate this and Men of War in my head. I’m going to try. This is the one which Jim doesn’t keep on ranting for me to try. I think. Anyway, the Single-player demo has been out for a bit. Now there’s a sister Multiplayer Demo, which is a mere half-gig in size. Half what the SP one was! The reason for this is classified. I know, but can’t tell you. I’m sorry. Oh – and here’s a new trailer explaining the “WHAT IF!”s which drive this alternate timeline post-WW2 war. Which, as many have noted, doesn’t look particularly like a cold war to us. You can tell by the explodeage.
Things explode

Very hot cool cold warr cool hot war, I suppose.
It looks to me like the engine is on WiC level. But that all you can see from the video. Nice explosions, precious fires.. loveable falling helicopters. Panzercandy.

The stuff with the buildings being crushed is really very neat.

That looks awesome.

Armoured trains are always awesome!
report
Armoured trains, like angry monorails. Should i be excited about this game? Or rather in 6 months will i even remember it exists?

Looks really shiny, yet totally uninteresting….

Desperately inappropriate music, don’t you feel?

T: Violence, Use of Tobacco
When I saw that, I thought it was a joke!
But no, it’s serious.
Looks cool! I don’t think a tower crane would demolish buildings exactly like that though. But it does look cool!
report
Looks kickass, and for some reason the music reminds me of Battlefied 1942.
report
I liked the collapsing buildings. The crane was the neatest, even though Dozer’s right, probably wouldn’t really happen like that. Still…
Doubt I’ll buy it though.
