Apparently the plans to create a modern day version with Garrett in a hoodie and using guns progressed a fair way (not into actual level design or anything of course).
So Thief 4 would actually have been GBH with a rubber dildo.

I didn’t play through the first game all the way.
Maybe that creepy splicer/big daddy on the cover of Game Informer is actually the player, in a diving suit, with the thing on its back the co-op player’s character?

Just a note that PCPowerPlay Australia will have all the goss on the game on April 1st (the same day Game Informer was SUPPOSED to drop its bombshell, but apparently they weren’t happy some Australian drongos clashed with their schedule).

I hear a very handsome and intelligent gentleman wrote it.

I think Thief 3 inverses again, the keyhole theme is VERY prominent in the third game.

It’s backwards – the player character’s daughter wasn’t kidnapped because she looked like a little sister – Big Sister has been kidnapping children that look like the main character’s daughter.

Why? Because Big Sister is the player character’s wife and she wants her daughter back. She was one of the little sisters, grown up and looking for a life, but Rapture’s influence is tenacious.
