Also it's super fun! but they do updates a lot, but just with grafic so when you get back to game after no playing for week you feel what you're not in your home anymore.

Truth be told, the number one problem with Wurm is Rolf. Since Markus Persson left, Rolf's head has continued to grow larger and larger and will eventually kill the game. He's a child and immature, caring more about "his game" than "his customers" or even his own volunteer staff.

Did Rolf upset his fan/player base with the March PvP patch? Yes! .. and for good reason. It may be "his game" but it's the players money and they do not have to commit to paying. Rolf is much like the rich kid that lived down the street. He had all the coolest toys and a nice yard to play in, but he always wanted to do it his way and never wanted to come over to your measly shack of a house. In other words, even if Rolf does consider our ideas, he generally claims them as his own as if he had been thinking of them long before. That's why he doesn't release info about upcoming features, he's not stolen the ideas from his players yet.

The number one thing the average player likes about Wurm is the crafting and building, not the PvP and not the graphics. Java sucks for a 3D world and my guess is that he has no clue how to write in C++ as to why he chose the inferior code.

That's not true dzINE.

If you want to move from Freedom to Wild, only the skills above 30 will be lowered. But they can be raised again on Wild. That to remove the problem with people grinding skills on the safer Freedom server.

Yeah, wild is the best server in the game really, The new server 'freedom' will make it so your skills are capped to 30 if you decide to go to wild after you cross over to Freedom. It's best to play on Wild first, because then you will decide if you want to live on wild or go to freedom, without a penalty. If you decide to try freedom first and see you dont like it.. you'll be forever capped if you move to wild from freedom. So its best to try the game out on Wild when you first get premium. PVP isnt that hardcore either. Ignore the home whiners, they complain alot.

Well, that guy up there who passed the champion lion.

Glad you liked my zoo. How was my Champion Wolf, Cavebug, Deer, Dog and Aged angry brown bear? :p

Well, glad you have fun. I'm always here, and I can help the RPS community pretty easily, if they live where I think they live.

For a price.

As a side note, any questions can be asked at the PA help channel. While an unruly bunch, they will answer your questions provided you read them fast enough :p

I tried Haven & Hearth and all I could find round the starting location was penis jokes and empty baskets. O.o I dunno if anyone actually PLAYS that game.

One good thing has come from this, I finally taken the time to read BoatMurder and gotten back into playing Dwarf Fortresss

I tried it out last night and really like what it's capable of, at least in regards to crafting, which seems to be the main focus. You're right about that wiki being indispensable. I started doing one of the beginner walkthroughs and was eventually successful.
The only problem I have is that information isn't accessible enough for most users. It also takes a very long time to do anything, which I understand increases the feeling of accomplishment, but is not so great for those with limited play time.
