18/07/2009 at 15:47 lefishy says:
Awesome. I lol’d.
Personally though I was hoping for a gmod flailing video starring the RPS dudes.
18/07/2009 at 16:39 Pijama says:
AWESOME.
This should be made into an official site intro, or a greeting card, or ANYTHING just for when people ask “what is RPS” =D
18/07/2009 at 16:50 nabeel says:
:D
18/07/2009 at 16:51 FernandoDANTE says:

18/07/2009 at 16:51 TCM says:
From now on, that is the introduction to all of your articles. From now on.
18/07/2009 at 16:52 Supraliminal says:
Not bad.
Quite good.
Yeah that’s it
18/07/2009 at 17:01 James Benson says:
I would SO make them a proper version for an RPS intro video if they wanted (although they don’t actually make videos thinking about it, maybe if there’s an RPS videocast at some point in the future! You have my email!)
18/07/2009 at 17:04 Rei Onryou says:
Proof that Shotgun beats all. Hands down. Or rather, 12 gauge down. =D
18/07/2009 at 17:31 Nero says:
Good stuff!
18/07/2009 at 17:37 Adventurous Putty says:
Most excellent.
18/07/2009 at 17:41 Kowalski says:
Someone should invent a word for that feeling you get when you’re waiting to laugh.
I was waiting for the shotgun, it appeared and then I laughed.
Job done.
18/07/2009 at 18:32 ids says:
That was great that made my day. Vary well done to
18/07/2009 at 18:36 Larington says:
Thats fantastic, especially the whole punching the air in a “damnit” fashion.
18/07/2009 at 18:48 PaulMorel says:
goooooooaaaaaaaaaal!!!!!!!!!!
18/07/2009 at 18:49 Ziv says:
lqtm (laughing quietly to myself)
18/07/2009 at 18:50 PaulMorel says:
And to the people pondering the issue: it should be made into a flash banner, a la Game Life’s old banner, which was a flash version of Pong, iirc.
18/07/2009 at 20:07 Phil says:
Everyone knows it’s 1,2,3 and then go.
18/07/2009 at 20:22 DSX says:
Brill, but I wish it was a classic pump shot rather then some sort of military looking semi-auto.
18/07/2009 at 21:39 h4plo says:
win!
18/07/2009 at 23:49 nakke says:
@Phil: NO! I think?
19/07/2009 at 00:09 Dorian Cornelius Jasper says:
Even more classic, the sawn-off shotgun. Bonus points if it’s from Sicily.
19/07/2009 at 01:14 NVC says:
This is how most of my RPS games end up.
19/07/2009 at 02:54 JuJuCam says:
@Phil Where I’m from the draw is on the third beat.
19/07/2009 at 04:02 Dorian Cornelius Jasper says:
I clearly recall kids back where I grew up saying “Jon-Ken-PON!” And showing on “pon.” And I think that counts as the third beat.
It was only after I discovered the internet that this was actually the name of the Japanese take on the game. I just assumed it was Hawaiian kids being silly.
19/07/2009 at 04:44 Stupoider says:
It can either be drawn on the third beat or on the beat after the third, learnt this from sitting with a group of lads in my science group, who were in a debate about which one was better.
I like doing the beat after the third. :D
19/07/2009 at 06:09 D says:
I’m faily sure there should be more than this one post under the tag ‘rps-self-indulgence.’
19/07/2009 at 08:49 CannedLizard says:
Reminds me of late night, drunken rock paper scissors games on the night bus here in Toronto.
Shotgun not involved.
Usually.
19/07/2009 at 13:23 mrdougan says:
I was blown away when i saw that on youtube (its now up to #41 most viewed in the UK)
19/07/2009 at 13:35 Dante says:
I’ve always thought Rock Paper Shotgun was the beta version of Rock Paper Scissors. Before the shotgun was nerfed in 1.1 for balance reasons.
19/07/2009 at 15:25 sbs says:
Fucking. Amazing.
19/07/2009 at 20:35 weirdcitizen says:
