I dunno, when you do these kinds’ve things and then release them to the world it feels about as disingenuous as proposing at a football/baseball game or in some random-ass really public place. You’re doing it for attention, warping the intended purpose.

This is AWESOME, AWESOME, AWESOME!!! My husband and I play Fallout 3 all the time. I’m an old fashioned girl and would never pop the question myself – but this is SO the way to go! I would love to meet this girl! He’s a lucky guy to have someone so fun and creative – I wish them nothing but the best. To quote the game, “KICK ASS!”

Well, I just read all three forum threads about this mod, from its inception as a crazy idea of a girl who wanted to propose to her boyfriend in the best way possible, to its premiere, which was after he already proposed to her.
It’s a story with some twists.
Taking that into account, the mod is quite an achievement, especially considering that the girl didn’t have any great vision of how it should be done and that the organization was taken into the hands of the modders.

I think it is a cute idea.
The building and models are pretty nice. Also the voice acting of the black pimp-guy was pretty decent if you ignore that he is an slang speaking black guy with some german accent. But who knows that might just be the type of pimp to survive a nuclear war.

The “post-apocalyptic love slave”-line is a bit wierd but I would’t be complaining if I was the fiancee.

I guess she picked Fallout because the guy she wanted to propose to liked it. A less realistic game might have been better to avoid the uncanny valley though.
