		<description>The devs are severely confused about what kind of balance makes a game fun. Anyone who&#039;s played Native in SP knows that horses are very, very favored. There&#039;s little that can be done against them, and it gets really boring using them after awhile.</description>

		<description>This was probably posted before but these are the new single player features that were announced a while back:

Mount&amp;Blade: Warband. introduces a number of features that players have specifically requested and which will vastly improve the overall gameplay experience of this revolutionary title.

Key features revealed for the first time at E3:
- Overhauled graphics; HDR, FSAA, Depth of Field, Soft particles, Tone Mapping and many other effects are all now implemented.
- Majority of Models are being redone.
- Multiplayer battles can now handle up to 64 players with Mods including Team Death Match and Search &amp; Destroy.
- Ability to become the ruler of a faction and convince lords to become your vassals in the Single Player Campaign.
- Ability to upgrade your companions to vassalage by granting them land.
- Improved Mechanics for Soldier Morale: Soldiers will break and run away if their morale gets too low.
- Formations
- Completely new faction (Possibly Asian Influenced according to Screenshots)
- Customizable quick battles
- New weapons, armour, etc. to add with the new faction.
- Diplomacy options
- Improved stragetic AI
- More options in sieges

		<description>I look more forward to the single player enhancements (improvements to everything and more of everything I suppose, as variety is what the original lacks after you exhaust what&#039;s available to you) but online will be a fun diversion also, and it&#039;s bound to spawn many more great modifications too.

I&#039;ll take offense to the visual comments though, maybe the models and what not are worse than something like Oblivion, but Oblivion doesn&#039;t have 100+ troops with individual AI fighting each other in a single skirmish. That would certainly bring any PC to its knees with those graphics. With these however, it runs great, and looks and sounds glorious in the heat of battle.

I love the improved animations and combat enhancements seen in beta videos too, and the improved armor models and textures certainly bring its look more up to par, though I don&#039;t know if that extends to the majority of the single player game too, it could be jarring to have the higher quality stuff mixed in with the pre-expansion models.</description>

		<description>@Pod, nay, there are about 4 ladders around the castle now, and as of the latest patch those ladders are now easier to knock down from the top of the walls, also the gate to the castle can be opened for sallying forth/walking straight in.</description>
