A Left 4 Dead mod that, well, adds the Teletubbies as enemies. There’s not really much more that can be added to that. It’s created by flameknight7, and can be downloaded from here. Watch the video, as displayed on our tummies, below.
Teletubbies etiquette now dictates you immediately play the video again. Cheers to Steve for tweeting it.

Also, I get the feeling, that using this in conjunction with the Randy Savage soundpack will be ace.
report
EWWWWWWWW YAAAA!!! SNAP INTO A SLIMJIM!!!!
Also, someone add Kool-Aid Man:
Ohhhhhhh, Yeah!!!
report
Um. Right.
Posssibly therapeutic for some among us. Or should I say, apparently?
report
Psychopomp beat me to it – I was surprised last time by how controversial StupidFunny is.
report
Are there normal zombies randomly in there too? Seems to spoil the effect a bit. I’d like to have seem just swarms of the Tubbies.
report
The Teletubbies always hang out with regular zombies.
report
Skeletons, especially.
report
Last I saw there was three different versions of the mod. One like what you saw, one with regular L4D zombies replacing the HL ones, and then another one featuring only Teletubbies.
report
How about one where they hang out with creatures from “In The Night Garden”?
report
I KNEW IT!!!
report
That’s awesome.
Incidentally, wasn’t Crash Course scheduled for around for tomorrow or something? Hope so!
report
Reminds me of the toonrun maps for sven co-op. Great fun.
report
This is stupi… sorry sorry.
the bit where the yellow one runs up the ramp “LaLa” “kaboom” (1:11 ish)
awesome.
report
This is terrifying!
report
Scarier than zombies.
report
Jesus. That’s more unsettling than I thought it’d be.
report
Those headshots are brutal.
report
This whole thing is kinda metal, really.
report
Omg, watching the tubbies pile in on a pipe bomb… make it stop, please.
report
“Where have the teletubbies gone?” at the end was fantastic.
report
Scarred for life here. Thanks RPS.
report
La La, La La, La La, La L-BOOM.
Whatever memory of the Teletubbies I had is gone, replaced by this. Which may or may not be a good thing.
report
Haha that is truly daunting horror. Eat yer heart out lovecraft!
report
Very nice, but it could do with being spiced up with a few more kids favourites, like Postman Pat and his black and white cat, those freaks from In the Night Garden, and some rabbid Sesame Street characters foaming at the mouth and delirious with rage.
report
Anybody else seen the guard dog thing on teamfortress.com yet?
You reckon that’s real?
The actual info page is not hosted on the official site…

report
Going by the Saxton Hale letter, it’s just a fake update mocked up by someone in the community that Valve are drawing attention to.
report
They scare me more then the usual zombies do.
report
The same, the same. Imagine being surrounded by the bastards? Arrrrgh!
report
This may be the single scariest thing I’ve ever seen.
report
Oh my! I need to get hold of this – although am I risking horrendous teletubby related nightmares?
@itsallcrap its quite obviously false, not being hosted on the official site should tell you that, but look at it, its riddled with spelling and grammer mistakes – other than that its a good mock up.
report
God that is absolutely, brutally, insanely awesome. Shearing Teletubbies’ heads off with a shotgun!
report
I want a Rod, Jane and Freddy mod.
report
That looks brilliant.
Just want them all to be this biq squishy ball of death.
report
I [ ] Love, [X] hate what L4D make [X] me / [ ] make others feel. Is a great [X] game / [ ] zombie apocalipsis simulator / [ ] social comentary / [ ] wall paint tool.
report
i agree.. this is stupidity, i don’t have to play it or watch the videos of someone else playing it. i mean are you serious once upon a time children were sleeping with the stuffed dolls!! Then some genius comes along and makes a video game with the different characters involved with handguns and what not……. smh i wonder why kids are so fascinated by guns a such a early age now days ! WHO”S TO BLAME?!
report
I think it’d be a good start to BLAME JOHN WALKER for introducing this stuff to PERFECTLY INNOCENT CHILDREN for the simple purpose of INDOCTRINATING THEM in his SYSTEM OF MORAL DEPRAVITY, encouraging them to SOLVE THEIR PROBLEMS WITH VIOLENCE.
report
My irony detector is broken. Are you serius?
report
Ahem… hard to say. I am a GODFEARING AMERICAN who has a deep-seated CONCERN FOR THE WELFARE of CHILDREN and SOME MENTALLY DEFICIENT ADULTS.
But no, not really serious.
However, on a serious note, Tei, I wanted to commend you. You’ve been posting in the neighborhood for a while, and I’ve noticed that your English has improved tremendously during that time. Good work! I hope you interpret this as a sincere compliment, because it is.
report
Thanks.. Kommissar Nicko. You made me really happy. :-)
report
o_O
Those head & limb shots are pretty brutal.
report
Terrifying…
report
I don’t think I could count how many awesome moment there were in that 4:30 of video.
report
This is poetry. Definetly post-modern or sumfink. Agree with the earlier posts about including characters from In the Night Garden, can only imagine how disturbing it would be to headshot Makka-Pakka as he polishes his stones and then to duck as the Pinky Ponk comes crshing down from the sky…
p.s. I pray that my 4 year old daughter never, ever sees this..
report
That is terrifying, absolutely terrifying.
report
Brilliant! Needs Barney, though. Then it would be completely horrifying.
report
Barney as the Tank, perhaps?
report
That would be GENIUS.
report
WIN!
report
Love it. Now all they need to do is replace the witch with Noseybonk and we’ll never sleep again.
report
As if Zombie Clowns weren’t pant-wettingly terrifying enough.
report
This mod needs to be part of L4D2 to get it past the Aussie censors. See you’re no longer killing the undead, you’re killing those four “things” over and over again.
report
I don’t know if I should laugh or cry. Either way, I’ll never play with this mod…
report
This is the most distrubing clip I’ve seen in a while.
I have to mention though, that I already find non-zombified Teletubbies to be distrubing…
report
I’ve said this in at least one other place: L4D just became a survival horror game instead of an action shooter.
report
Ermm, this explains all the similar looking avatars. Defaults!
report
That's scarier than vanilla L4D.
Someone needs to put those things in Ravenholme in Half-Life 2. Or not. I don't think I could handle the nightmares.
report
Teletubbies on fire !!! I think I am having an orgasm !!!!
report
Wonderful.
Though I wish they'd gone a step further into the truly surreal, and made a mind-bending map, complete with floating submarine-thing, and nozzle-nosed vacuum reavers.
I wet my bed in anticipation.
report
If I ever watch teletubbies in the mere future, I will remember this and laugh like a madman.
What have you done?!?
