This looks much better than the previous Bad Company. Almost like a small-scale, bona fide Battlefield 2 2. If you get what I mean.

Also, that bit where the RPG sails past - amazing.

RPGs are very effective at shooting down hovering/landing helicopters. Black Hawk Down is all about helicopters getting shot down by RPGs.

Will it still take and entire mag to get a kill like in BC1... that's the question. Keep going back to the old one for the amazing ambiance, and keep being put off by the poor bullet damage. Who gives a turd... I'm still getting it.

It's easier to demonstrate a game on stage with a pad, rather than sitting down behind a keyboard. Also, the first Bad Company was not released on PC, right?

It might be that mouse movement is a lot faster and twitchier, so it's potentially harder for an observer to follow what's going on? It's definitely a lot more natural when you're actually playing the thing, but you also tend to do a lot of quick visual scans and such which can be more disorienting for someone who's not familiar with what's going on.

You'll notice in the video that the player didn't do very much looking around either; he basically jogged straight forward, and shot at things that appeared in front of him. The idea, I assume, was to give the viewer a nice, steady, "cinematic" look at all the prettiness happening instead of actually playing the game. Slower controls help with this, because it's much easier to follow what the player's doing as they're doing it, even if you don't have much familiarity with the game.

I guess they don't have the witty commentary because it's multiplayer? The thing that impressed me, and this is something I've noticed with the recently released CoD Modern Warfware 2 trailer is that they seem to be going to lengths to bring the players together as a team, as opposed to the solo hunting mentality that was common in CoD 4, which is always nice. One gripe I do have, and this goes for a lot of demonstration videos, why the hell do they always demo them on the console? In this case they kind of dodged the bullet, but it still looks as if somebody is steering the player, as opposed to the superior control of the mouse and keyboard, and you would think that they would want all of the shameless shininess and embellishment imaginable in a promo.
