This is both cute and scary. Cute, because for the 20th anniversary of Wallace and Gromit, telltale are giving people free access to the Muzzled Episode of their Grand Adventures. You can also order the full package for twenty dollars instead of the usual thirty-five, which include a charitable donation. The offer runs until 12pm on Monday the 9th. If you’re interested, go gets. Conversely, it’s scary because I remember the very first Wallace and Gromit and I don’t need a reminder of my own mortality when I’m still in my dressing gown. Muzzled’s trailer follows…
I’m not sure what “The Wrong Browsers” as a title actually means, but it amuses me. If it was still old skool RPS, I’d have gone for something like The Wrong Shoppping Browsers, but there’s no room no more. Oh woe is us.

I find that picture scary and disturbing!
PENIS
I did a double-take for the same reason.
Every time I tabbed back >.>
Add me to the “glad it wasn’t just me” list.
I blame the internet, it’s perfectly fine ice cream !
real ice creams dont normally have a helmet rim :-/
Fucking cocks.
I’m pretty sure he was called “the stupid gay one”. Not on the show itself, mind, But that’s what everyone was thinking.
Either that or he was called Chad. I can’t remember.
I thought I was the only one.
Wait, I didn’t mean to reply to this comment. Where’s the delete button?
I swear to god, RPS has the worst comment system ever.
I also meant to type “Grey” not Gay.
Though that isn’t really the fault of RPS as much as I’d like it to be.
‘the stupid gay one’
Freudian slip?
“More Cheese Gromit?”
‘Freudian slip?’
That would probably explain why I keep waking up in a tutu.
I’m not proud of it,
You win this time, EGTF!
“The Wrong Browsers” is a play off one of their original cartoons, “The Wrong Trousers.”
Glad it wasn’t just me, then.
Forgive me, but at first glance, and for just a fleeting and alarming instant, I had the horrifying and confusing thought that Wallace was gripping onto a rather large man-rod. Fortunately, I realized what was actually going on before I noticed that Gromit is clutching something similar-looking.
Normally I hate to nit-pick, but having someone other than Peter Sallis doing Wallace’s voice just seems wrong. Just like how the Telltale Sam & Max games have a theme tune that SOUNDS like the Hit The Road theme, but then suddenly changes at the last minute. It’s like Silent Hill – there’s a jarring abnormality about it that just keeps digging away at you.
Either that or it’s just me.
Damn you, Carlsberg Special Brew. Damn you to hell.
It’s not just you. I picked up Muzzled for free when I bought Monkey Island and I just couldn’t play it for more than a few minutes because of the ersatz Sallis, who squats at the bottom of the uncanny valley like some unruly troll.
I’m happy I’m not the first to notice.
Oh, NOW I see it.
Goddamn you all.
Good punning, Kieron! :) There should be a "Top 10 RPS Title Puns" feature at some point.
This is sick.
You’re not proper old unless you remember Morph, the slightly cruder, speech impeeded, nightmare inducing precursor of W & G, his staring eyes containing cold hard madness.
He was obviously the dark side of Tony Hart, the suppressed, bestial side that rejoiced in carnage and the spilt blood of children and animals.
IÄ! MORPH FHTAGN!
IÄ! MORPH FHTAGN!
I remember Morph.
What was his stupid gray friend called?
So you’re not proper old until you’re about four? ‘Cos you know Morph was apearing on SMart until at least last year. Can’t disagree mind, I don’t think anyone under four can be considered proper old.
Chas was his stupid grey friend. Damn was he stupid!
morph was racist.

Also adding myself to the “glad I’m not the only one to notice” list.
I mean, for goodness sake.
Yep, sorry, I saw it too.
My world is shattered.
sthu and lick it! Ahem *shivers*
It’s the facial expressions that make it work.
Indeed.
That sure is suggestive.
There sure is some barely concealed Freudian homoeroticism in here.
Thankfully, RPS knew where to stop cropping the image at in order to avoid making this picture inherently dubious.
Phallus analogues aside, this picture frightens me for reasons I cannot fully comprehend. Gromit’s eyes seem too close together. Like some otherworldly, eldritch abomination is crushing his head.
And possibly sodomising him out of shot.
It’s possible.
Shut up.
I will have to check RPS in the morning more often. It is the laughter that keeps me awake.
I can be worst… imagine “Hands on with Gromit’s “
…you know, I think I was happier before all the homoeroticism.
Sigh.
HOW ABOUT THOSE VIDEOS GAMES GUYS
“HOW ABOUT THOSE VIDEOS GAMES GUYS” oh, oh yes. How about those video game guys? *licks ice cream cone and drools* Oh, Gordon
Clearly, I’m doomed.
Wow I was at work when I loaded this up and scrolled past it real quick until I realized what it was.
So Grommit is into interracial?
BTW, am I the only person that hates Wallace and Grommit? The only thing I had worse than Wallace and Grommit is probably Post Man Pat and Paddington Bear.
Shadowcat “It hammers at my retinas like an evil woodpecker of pure energy”
No, I don’t like them either. I don’t mind Postman Pat, and Paddington is too saccharine for my taste.
That dog has the most blank stare though, there is no emotion in his face.
That’s handy, got the first episode for free for pre-ordering Tales of Monkey Island, got the second for free in the Pirate Day promotion (as I already had the free ToMI episode, so you could get any other one instead). Third episdoe through this promotion, and I believe you can get the 4th and final one with a free episode code from the ToMI treasure hunting mini-game.
So basically Telltale gave away a free season for pre-ordering ToMI…
wow you guys have issues.
Thanks people, glad I’m not alone..
Also, get it now. Think of the badger!
I have a bittersweet feeling about not noticing the phallic suggestiveness until it was pointed out.
The moment in The Wrong Trousers when the penguin pulls the rubber glove off his head is one of the funniest things ever filmed. Genius.
Didn’t know Wallace invented the Fleshlight.
(Google it)
(Actually, if you’re at work, don’t)
