You are
Edit:Actually, now that I think about it, you may be thinking the right thing. This *is* a small bayou town, which is about as deep south as you can get.

Valve really needs to get their shit together. You would think that after they blew the release of the demo they would take special care to NOT fuck up the launch of the full game. Instead they hype up the release hour and unceremoniously miss it without having the common decency to tell the people who are up at midnight or later on a weekday when they can expect to play. AGAIN. It’s so incredibly unprofessional.

Stupid looking trees have been bugging me in games for years now. Kudos if Valve have finally made them work.
Next stop, realistic hair.

You’re reading too much into it. Racist killings would be far less ceremonially displayed.

Pretty screenies, the lighting effects are nice.

What’s with the laser sights?
Also, the chainsaw screenshot set in the swamp looks a lot like someone using a hatchet and Ash’s chainsaw hand at the same time, which made me hopeful until I realised that was just the chainsaw handle.

I thought exactly the same thing. I hadn’t even considered dual wielding melee weapons, but after getting my hopes up there I’m all disappointed.

You really can’t wait an extra hour?

There’s an achievement for carrying the gnome through the game here as well? Thats getting to be a recurring joke in valve games :)
