I think it looks like it’s going to be pretty fun but doesn’t anyone else get the feeling it doesn’t look desolate enough I know it’s a long time after the bombs dropped and Vegas wasn’t hit to hard but it looks to well maintained ori it just me

If you didn’t like the voice acting in Fallout 3 I don’t see how you’ll like New Vegas which I can only hope will have the same quality. Between Liam Neeson, Malcolm Mcdowell and Ron Perlman to name a few I had no problem whatsoever with the voice acting. I don’t know if you guys haven’t played many games but most games even half the scale of Fallout have voices that repeat and get old quickly, Fallout did a great job all around.

Obsidian sucks at finishing games, not at doing sequels. KOTOR2 and NWN2 should’ve blown the originals out of the water, but were crippled by short deadlines and amateurish development practices. They’ve got more experience and more time now, and everybody who knows where Obsidian came from is waiting with bated breath.

Personally, I really enjoyed Fallout 3. And, while I hate to say it, the biggest downside to it is that it’s being done by Obsidian, who tend to suck on doing sequels (KOTOR2 not nearly as good as KOTOR1, and I never could get into NWN2, and would rather play more NWN1). Given all the stellar people in it, I always hope for more out of them. Here’s hoping, though.
