Good morning, RPS.
Thanks Casey Jamieson. Thanks.

Blimey, expected a fun clip and got TF2 euro-techno.
report
I’m just going to bed, you brits, over there across the pond, in the future…
report
As Bill Bailey pointed out; that lyric may sound profound but actually makes no more sense than “I’ve got Ham but I’m not a Hamster”.
report
Bwahahaha, i hadn’t heard that one, I shall use it from henceforth :D
report
That is fantastic. Next time I listen to that song I’m singing that instead
report
what the fuck this is awful. I blame europe
report
The United Kingdom is found within Europe, and this site is run by British people, limeys if you prefer the term, but specifically: Europeans. Not to mention that the majority of readers are likely British too, drawn here by the British sense of humour found within the writing (I never did get Destructoid or Kotaku, they’re mostly not at all funny to me, but RPS is frequently so).
Soooo… you do realise that, right? >.> WELCOME TO EUROPE!
report
You are technically correct but the term “europe” is often used in the UK as shorthand to denote “mainland europe / the rest of europe”. It can also mean “the EU / European Commission / Brussels / Eurozone”. It doesn’t technically make any sense, but you can usually tell what people mean from the context.
If a Brits hears an American talk about “Europe” and “Europeans”, depending on what is being discussed they might or might not take it as applying to them (for example “Europe doesn’t want to fight in Afghanistan” or “PC game are more expensive in Europe” etc).
report
I blame Europe, the 80s glam metal band. Whilst we Europeans are responsible for many things considered bad by other nationalities (small cars, industrial design, IKEA, Swiss neutrality), I don’t think we can take blame for Eurodance and techno in quite the same way.
report
Techno is actually a thoroughly American invention, seeing as it was born in Detroit.
report
Us Europeans cannot be taken responsible for cheap techno music. We are still busy apologizing for France Gall.
report
According to alexa the majority of traffic on RPS comes from the US.
report
That needs a decent video.
Actually, that needs an AWESOME video.
report
Once is enough for me.
report
Umm, I… What?
report
Wtf, Americans sucks. This is awesome.
report
And I thought these euro-pop trance remixes were made especially for DotA…..
report
HOLY UNGODLY COCK
report
Techno ruins everything. Poor Soldier
report
Ignorant cretins that are not aware what “techno” really is, ruin everything.
(The music in the video is much closer to euphoric trance, if anything.)
report
I thought it was more of a happy hardcore number myself
report
In non-dance music speak, all dance music is handily labelled “techno”. As this is clearly dance music, it fits the bill for those who aren’t fans of the genre. Don’t be a music snob.
It’s nice, whether it’s euphoric trance or happy hardcore. Sounds more like trance to me, though.
report
It’s not Happy Hardcore without piano and chipmunk vocals. Trust me, I used to live with someone who’d play it 24/7. I still have nightmares.
report
Thank you, I needed that to wake up properly.
report
That. And I’m spanish (Wich means, european). And I’m ashamed.
report
Yes.
This needs a spectacular music video. Now.
report
“Fire! FIRE!” is just perfect. Thank you Gillen. Thillen.
report
That ending is perfect. Just perfect.
(PS. I always fail the first CAPTCHA, and succeed on the second. Always. It has to be a bug.)
report
This and Larington’s post are how I felt about this.
At first I simply had no clue what I was listening to or why I was listening, but the ending was perfect. This is the new Starcraft 12 Days of Christmas, it’s just one of those things that’s absolutely useless and silly, but funny at the end.
I liked it. I think!
report
@Wulf : 12 days of Team Fortress is even better: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=znR5XyjLzS8 :-)
report
Cheesy beats :(
report
The ending had me laughing,
report
You are running, I am runninger!
report
TF2 on ecstacy…hrm
report
I would probably dislike this if I didn’t love eurodance so much.
report
Holy crap!
report
You are weak! You are bleeders! You run fast! I run faster!
*dances*
report
oh europe… where did it all go wrong?
report
Awesome. Just… awesome :D
report
Let this be the one and only time that RPS quotes The Killers.
With ex-Plan B staff in it’s ranks you’d think it’d know better.
And looking up before posting it is the ex-Plan B staffer that’s posted this. Oh dear.
report
Dreadful Euro-Crap
Erectin a Dispenser is still The King
report
Poor Soldier, his music career has gone down the crapper. I quite liked his collaboration with the Spy though in Cap My Point

report
Isn’t it illegal to combine something as memetic as TF2, with someone as memetic as Gaga?
report
That’s either the best or the worst thing I’ve seen all day. Either way, I’ve laughing uproariously.
report
This is bad.
report
Good morning Charlie.
report
Should have based it mroe on scott brown rather than Tiesto it might had made more sense. Voice does really not go with the tune (as bad as the tune sounds).
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YL3OC4S_2Q4 or something like it :P
report
Well, I wasn’t expecting to actually be posted.
But hey, I guess I’m not the only person with a soft spot of horrible techno stuff.
Except this is awesome. (Soft spot talking.)
report
It was then that I spell checked my post and realized that I had the phrase “soft spot of”…. How embarrassing. I’m pretending I went back and edited it by posting this.
report
I guess that means you are half human, half robot
report
SADFACE :(
report
HAPPY VIRIDIAN FACE! :D
report
Not able to find it myself, but someone made me grin when they played a version of Reel 2 Real’s ‘I Like to Move it’, spliced with engie quotes about ‘Move that gear up!’ in a TF2 server recently.
report
This is not mere hyperbole, either. There is no situation that cannot be made worse with the application of techno.
report
As an Australian, it should be mentioned that you appear to have posted this during our party hours.
For this I thank you.
Also, Spy!
report
That is probably very good, I liked it.
report
It’s the new Dota song! I’m outta here >.>
report
Well I can’t hear this while at work, but I’m still guessing it’s not as good as:
I’m your medic
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CH4D7Uod4Cg
or
Be A Sniper
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8j-z3QFLezE

TF2 + Euro-trance for breakfast = a very odd way to start the day.
I now have a really odd urge to find a copy of that Smurf’s dance-pop-covers-album…
report
You know I normally don’t go for this sort of thing, but somehow that was hugely entertaining. I don’t think I’ll want to listen to it again though, once is likely enough.
report
My favourite dance song is the one that went “Down, down, d-down, get get down, down, down, d-down, get get down, down, down, d-down, get get down, down, down, d-down, get get down, down, down, d-down, get get down, down, down, d-down, get get down, down, down, down, d-down, get get down, down, down, down, down, down, down, down, down, down, down, down, down, down, down, down.
Anyone know what that one was called?
report
I bet it’s called Get Get Down.
report
Now you’re just being silly.
report
This is epic.
report
YOU RUN FAST
I RUN FASTER
YOU ARE RUNNING
I AM RUNNINGER

Is this what you’re referring to?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6dh0iEkDEkU
report
I loved it
report
Well done, whoever made this.
report
Runninger is an uber cool word.
report
Wulf said: “The United Kingdom is found within Europe, and this site is run by British people, limeys if you prefer the term, but specifically: Europeans.”
Whats are british people and europeans, these days?
report
I hate techno, but this is just so goddamn catchy I can listen to it all day XD
