The beta itself starts on the 8th of July, but you can sign up today. It’s seems certain that you should read our interview and then go, fly! to register yourself for the beta. And then rest. Rest, brave reader. For soon you will have much work to do.

I have managed to resist the urge to sign up for this – I’ve already got one free-to-play action-MMO on my active playlist (Cosmic Break, which is nearing the end of its beta run), and can’t afford another. It’s a matter of time, rather than money.

I was trying to think of other tank vs tank games and I’ve half remembered one from the Amiga that was a top down view, arrow keys to move, space to fire, separate turret controls, 2-player split screen affair. There were different sizes of tanks and the smallest was a tiny mouse tank that I think was bright pink. Can anyone remember what that game was? It’s driving me mad.
I remember it being almost as addictive as Biplanes.

That game was Fire Power. I mostly remember it for the extremely loud gun sound which was played when the game loaded.

That looks similar, same sort of game, but not the one I am thinking of. The mouse/smallest tank was kinda circular and maybe… pink? I think the biggest tank had 2 guns. You could hide inside sheds or forests and it was literally just 1v1.
