Been meaning to play this for a while but finally – ahem – found time. Stream is basically a short-form Braid with a monochrome Flashback-esque aesthetic. The device being you can create a portal and send yourself back in time, leaving a ghost doing whatever you were doing. Use it to dodge guards, keep doors open and so on. It’s a lot fiddlier than Braid, which becomes an annoyance in the more complicated multi-stage puzzles, but it’s still well worth a shot. You can get it here and see some footage – in the form of a full spoiler-filled walkthrough – below…

That was not fun, much too fiddly, much too tedious. I think the 4:27 – 4.36 on the video shows the sort of stuttering crap that bothered me, you start respawning in your wormhole and then the game shrugs and kills you off.

Agreed…I’m not entirely sure what it was about this game, but it didn’t seem to work. I mean at a mental level…or maybe I just didn’t get it…Either way…it’s gone now…

Have you been digging through your Manic Street Preachers collection since failing to not mention the new Manics song yesterday, Kieron..?

I remember a rumour going round that they were going to call their greatest hits ‘A Scream to a Sigh’. But they didn’t.

The P.B. Winterbottom game has some charm that this lacks, besides both been mostly the same gameplaywise
